Simple to use and easy to set up.

Map not up to date and no leads provided to connect o a PC to update I went to a town outside London and it told me i was approaching a roundabout, when in fact i was at trafficlights. The sat nav instructed me to turn left but there was no option i had to drive 2 miles out of my way to get back on the right road. Also some of the postcode are incorrect. GU4 8SE is a postcode for the manor house hotel. However when using the sat nav the unit took me down a dead end road 5 milesfrom my destination. When i re entered the postcode it said i was 100yd fro my destination. A friend who was following me entered the postcode into his tom tom and we got there first time using his sat nav

Reasonable functionality for the price

The claim that the unit does a full postcode search is a lie. Every time I have used only the postcode as the address to navigate to, the unit has taken me to a location over 2 miles from my actual destination. It clearly only searches on the first few characters of the postcode.

The screen is easy to see very bright and easy to follow.

It has not performed very well recently i have made two trips at night and have lost the signal on more than one occasion whilst being done dark country lanes. As a female this is not a good thing and as i cannot map read assumed this would be the best option. However i have no confidence in the product and am thinking of returning it as i do not feel it is working as it should. It also seems to lag behind it gives me instructions when i am about half a mile ahead.It also told me to turn right whilst on a dual carriageway.

Good to have speed camera warnings built in

Stylus falls out Fuzzy text doesn't seem to work and frequently fails to find post codes and so you have to locate on map manually. Car charger failed after single use.

hmmmm, thats a hard one....... has been ok when working .

hard to use, takes up to 10 mins to lock onto satalite. have to go out to car and start the sat nav at least 5 mins befor i want to leave. then offen end up sitting waitng for another 5 mins while it finds its satalite. sometimes looses satalite when in use, not as good as i exspected. not a good buy.

flawed features to inlude poor navigation/gps link , "freezing" , intermittent charging problems and voice guidance loss at certain stages.

Falls off the hold when i drive over a bump, tells me to take a left into a no entry road, slow to respond and always takes a long time to find GPS. Dont really like this product at all and i think its a waste of money.

good well lit menus and selection screens, come with all relevant attachments and in car charger.

not user friendly at all. Never seems to recognise post code. Could not use this in a hurry would have to sit and manually type address in a format for machine to find it. Also not clear instructions on how to implement speed camera sensors. Overall too complicated!!

It was a cost effective purchase at the time it was bought.

It is slow to find satellites and navigate; the mapping was already well out of date upon purchasel; some of the navigation is confusing; and it occasionally crashes

great value and covers all my needs.

Simple to use with iniuative controls and handy functions such as saved favourite destinations, history of destinations travelled to, Points of Interest (POI) option including, hotels, golf resorts, and an up to date speed camera location notification for the whole of the UK and Ireland.

Poor battery life 2-3 hours, relativeley small screen.

i have heard some people said that the product "freezes" when used for a long time.

so easy to use, even my wife can use it!!!

I haven't found anthing bad about it and I've used it daily and on some long distances. Very pleased with it & Excellent Value.

Most features are easy to use. Points of interest and safety cameras is of great value.

Post code searches can come wrong sometimes. Difficult (ie not easy) to get a sensible alternative route: such as shortest route, avoid certain roads etc.

Good straight out of the box performance.

Minor point.Make sure you do your original calabration while sitting in your car on the road.( not in a garage or your front room)

only comes with a in car charger i have not yet had the unit without the red light showing meaning its not fully charged a plug in adapter to fully charge before use would be good.

i bought it for my husband went away for a weekend to a place we had not been before it took all the stess away looking at sign posts etc fab

The cradle sometimes drops off the windscreen

Original unit froze and would not re-set, as did the replacement unit. This sat-nav is obviously not fit for purpose and is a complete waste of money

goes off road & gives wrong direction at some point of journey. Usually finds it's way back but leaves one confused

we had two of these and neither worked. perhaps a bad batch?? who knows!!

on and off button fell off second time it was used ,the routes are some times on roads that could be only called tracks at the very best,the instuctins about what all the icons on the screen is very poor

It is compact and fits well onto the windscreen of the car.

It does not have a very good reception and cuts out a lot. It does not change and update the time zone and there is no upgrade download for new roads, police check areas etc.

The screen is clear and precise, the directions are given at the correct time and when the route is diverted for what ever reason, the Sat nav gets you back on track with no fuss or problems - I am very pleased with my purchase.
