It's very light, so you can bring it anywhere you like. It is complete with Wifi to surf wirelessly at public places which provides internet service. I love the sleek mocha brown color. It's so cute!! I simply love it.

It a lovely elegant looking laptop, very user friendly and quick. It has a lot of useful shortcuts which save time. I would recommend this to anyone but having said this I wouldnt expect anything else from Dell.

It's a really good notebook for the price, dual core and a large memory for most things, I love the big wide screen and webcam. It comes with firefox pre-installed and it has skype too.

touch pad too small and you can't feel the edges of the touchpad in low light. would like to see the netbook bundled with linux. I'd love to have 1280x800 resolution in a 10" format. No builtin 3G

I love the number pad as I do a lot of work with numbers. I like the wireless facility as it now means that my work is portable.

Its brilliant I love it the keys are a good size and the screen is large ,some I looked at where too fiddly and you couldnt see the whole page without scrolling all over the place Windows PC is a bonus as I still love it.It connects to the internet really quickly and the set up is so easy.

The battery is not the best BUT I try not to get too carried away with useage :) I love this item it is just the right weight and size the features are brill, its cheaper then pc for same specs almost, runs fast, could be prettier but nothing some stickers can't sort out :) over all amazing bargain and very, very good product very user friendly!

Keyboard is ideal for people who can touch type. Love the choice of colours - blue is my favourite! It is still small and light enough to carry around with out any problems. It is faster in opening programmes and connecting to wireless than my Desktop PC. Battery life is amazing and therefore, ideal for longer meetings and travelling.

massive HD screen, nice gemstone design, generous enough hard drive space, classy 4gig of ram, webcam's canny good, sound quality is good, keyboard is lovely, blu-ray drive is nice, bluetooth's there, direct mail button's there, media center works very well, it does not heat up compared to so many laptops out there,

-Runs games very well at high quality. -Function keys are very useful for instant internet connection, volume control, etc. -Built-in speaker is good quality and placed above the keyboard for surprisingly good sound effects. -Screen is clear and gives no noticeable reflections. -Attractive design with a range of lovely colours. -Generally easy to use and get used to.

Beautiful machine, good in all respects. Small, reasonably light, easy to use and very reliable. I love my NC10 and often use it instead of my HP laptop or Dell laptop. fantastic for use as a browser and mail machine when travelling abroad.

The battery (although a nice shape) adds weight. But you cannot change the laws of physics! A better battery is a heavier battery. My previous laptop was a desk-top emulating beast. So the NC10 does not really offend. Samsung have used a relatively proprietry power socket. This limits your choice of car chargers ect... At least on the high street anyway. It's lovely that Samsung has supplied a free case, but a little bit of padding, on the bottom at least would have made it perfect.

When I was researching the Netbooks on the market, I found they tended to fall into two groups; 1)Nice keyboard. Shame about the screen. 2) Nice screen, shame about the keyboard. I eventually realised that if I was going to live with the device for any period of time, I had better fork out the little bit extra for the Samsung NC10. For the size of netbook, the keyboard is superb. Unlike many of it's rivals, the NC10's 'RETURN' key is an inversed "L". This makes typing much easier. It was one of the main reasons for buying this unit. The screen is also excellent. The brightness is lovely & punchy. The screen surface is slightly matt to reduce reflection. If you like your battery life long, let the supplied power-save programme controll the screen. It will run at full brightness when on mains power. But when on battery, it will dim the screen slightly and then dim it further after a period of non use. As a result, the already high powered battery gives excellent performance. The lid on the blue model has a lovely gloss finnish. Considdering it has a traditional hard drive, the NC10 is surprisingly quiet. The ram can be upgraded via a small access panel and the power pack is a nice size too. I have used it for about an hour every day and I can safely say I made the right decision.

Love the design, look, & quality ... its a great desk top replacement. Buy the wireless Sony mouse to go with it they look great together!

Lovely screen (17"), not the highest resolution (1440 x 900) but enough for the screen size. Dedicated graphics (useful for Vista), runs so smoothly, performance hasn't been an issue so far. Really easy to perform media streaming, TV-out. The BluRay is a great bonus (ROM, not RW). It's a little more deep than some 17" so be aware of this when trying to get a laptop bag for it. Overall it really was the best value for money at the time of purchase and I would highly recommend it for the more technical laptop user, occasional gamer (won't run the top games like Crysis very well - it's not a dedicated gaming laptop), as well as being great for day to day tasks. A little bit for everyone here. HP even provide a polishing cloth to keep the nice glossy black casing ncie and shiney (gets rid of those fingerprints).

Very light, so much better than carrying a laptop around, especially if all you want to do is keep in touch with friends on email or use the internet.. This was a present for my granddaughter and she really likes it. It was good to have a choice of colours and I chose pink which she loves.

We purchased the acer laptop for our son who is 8 years old for Christmas it is a lovely laptop that he has found very user friendly. Once set up with the router it was connected to the Internet and away he went. The Acer Laptop was very reasonably priced and was the perfect present for our son who has had hours of fun with it. Best of all there is now no more fighting over the main computer with his older brother.

I love thescrren size I think a smaller one would have been to small to work with, the resolution is very good. The keyboard is a nice size. .

Keypad is brilliant, separate buttons makes typing easiest than ever. Design is wicked i love it plus performance and how silent it is !!!

Good looks. Not too heavy, Nice keyboard layout. Good speaker quality sound. Has all the performance I will need. Love the size screen.

lovely piece of kit, has fulfilled all we wanted it for, light, fast, and actually more use than our main pc. and much more use than a full size laptop due to its extremely small size. Battery life and life in use is very good indeed, getting over 5 hours per charge.

small and compact, me son is using it all the time and he loves is, he is only 13 and did not want a big laptop, and any major memory needs we use an external memory card and stick, it does not need a dvd drive because you can play films from the memory card or stick, its great

It is just stunnning, I love it. Small enough to carry around and not get in the way on a desk but big enough to be be usable. Lovely large screen and aesthetic design. Energy Star product (lower energy use). Reasonable battery life compared to other laptops I've had. I like having the additional number pad to the right of the keyboard, the webcam and 5in1 card reader. Overall I'm really pleased with my purchase.

Nice little machine. Don't be put off by the 'recon'. It means that it has been back to the factory & checked, after a customer return. Mine was in a brown cardboard box, but it was in PERFECT condition. It was the cheapest I could find anywhere! I've installed Office 2007 Enterprise on it & it works really well. I love it!

I wanted a Sony laptop for general internet and office use, also viewing / editing photos and listening to all my mp3s. I love it! This is my first ever laptop and compared with my old computer it performs better than I expected. It is neat and easy to use, not too heavy and it looks pretty! All round this is a quality product for the price, I would definitely recommend it.

The key pad is comfortable to use (to my surprise), the built in speakers and motion eye are very good. Overall I love my laptop.

When it works well, it really does work well, its fast and looks very slick. Love the nice big screen for watching films and doing everything else.

Looks amazing, amazing graphics, I love it overall. Am still trying to get used to it though.

Excellent small laptop. We have been using it off mains power for hours and never had to panic about plugging it into the mains. Wireless set up was easy and shared our Music and pics over the network easily also. Web cam go, but couldbe sharper quality. Slightly higher resolution would also be good to see full size web pages. All in all a great machine and exactly what I was looking for. My 9 year old daughter loves it and can use use everything. She cannot however understand why she cannot get the internet in the car and at her Grans, but then again, neither can my wife.

It connects at great speed through our home hub wireless router its also sleek and attractive my daughter loves it and it keeps her away from my lap top...which is much slower for browsing....

Its very stylish and user friendly. Kids love it and fight constantly about using it, which I actually don't mind because I can completely understand why!!! Love the keyboard as it is extremely easy to the touch and the keys are all clearly marked and easy to see! I'm not a lover of the touch mouse but I have to say even it has impressed me as I find it extremely easy to use and can say it genuinely doesn't frustrate me!! Overall I am very impressed and would recommend this laptop to anyone for home use or office it seems more that capable of handling both!!

easy set-up just plug in and the laptop does it ,simple to set-up wireless and once you were conected to internet it was just a matter of downloading a few (50!!) updates and that was it ,my 9 year old got it for her xmas and she has always used windows xp home so i did not know how she would get on with vista....she loves it

Small, sleek and lovely to look at. Reasonable price for 10" screen. Adults and children both love it. User friendly for all to use. My 10 year old son set up his own. Fits in handbag or schoolbag. My children loved these from Santa. Next year I want one too!

Nice design, great clear screen, better battery life than I've been used to. Fingerprint scanner is v. useful - not just a gimmick! Setup was very swift and easy. Loved the easy transfer software that imported my files and settings from the old computer. Really very happy.

Love the size and design of this laptop. Its fantastic for watching movies on!

I've had this for a month nearly and it's great! Everything works fine, games play on it well (i have yet to buy any recent games but things like the Dawn of War games have no probs running on it, and I'm sure other games will run well too.) It shuts-down really fast, I even timed it because I was amazed at how fast it was compared to my old pc lol (22 seconds from clicking shutdown to it powering off completely). I can hook it up to my widescreen tv as an extra screen with the HDMI socket or the monitor socket (you have to get your own cables for that though) It does get quite warm, but then I do use it for a long time (using photoshop/painter to do my artwork) so I use the power cable instead of the battery. It comes with a little remote which opens windows media center or HP own dvd/blu ray player. I bought a laptop cooling mat which is a mat with two fans built in and connects via usb, to cool the laptop. I wouldn't worry about it having 250Gb memory, because you can always get an external hard drive (I bought a 500Gb one to back up my old pc and for new artwork i'll do on this and any other memory eating programs. Track pad! I never liked using the track pad on any laptop, im too used to using a mouse; it's quicker! What is cool on this model is... You can press a button above it to turn it off! What a revelation! An on/off button! There are free HP games on here too; just the puzzle types like Bejewelled 2, with an option to get more games. All in all, this is awesome, its not heavy, I can move it around with ease and its an excellent alternative to a pc tower and saves a load of space. I even bought a laptop rucksack to keep the dust off it too. The screen is bight and picture is awesome, clear and beautiful colours, games look wicked, sound is great. The price-well, you have to consider this has what a pc has crammed into a smaller area, plus it has the fastest laptop processor by intel to date (Intel Centrino 2 - dont bother with the slower ones unless you dont want to use the pc for games or other graphics dominated applications.) and the Nvidia card has, ok, just 256mb memory, but it is dedicated memory to the card, and it also has 1.5 GB shared memory, which basically means it helps to free up the graphics memory used by the pc and allows games and dvds/blu ray and graphics programs to play effortlessly. So far I love this laptop!

This is a lovely laptop - we really wanted the one with the BlueRay drive but couldn't afford it. The display is bright and clear and the processor is excellent value (Core 2 Duo P8400). We use it for HD video editing and it's a good combination with Sony Vegas Pro.
